2cupsuncooked glutinous rice
2cupsuncooked white rice
1lbchicken breast
1tbspdark soy sauce
1tspsesame oil
cupoyster sauce
cupsoy sauce
2tbsprice vinegar
3Chinese sausages, sliced
6Chinese mushrooms, soaked for 30 min & sliced
3green onions, chopped
2carrots, slivered
  1. Soak the glutinous rice for 8-10 hours. Combine with the white rice and cook in a rice cooker.
  2. Cut the chicken and marinate in pepper, dark soy sauce, and sesame oil.
  3. Add oyster sauce, soy sauce, water, vinegar, sugar, & salt to the cooked rice and mix well.
  4. For each serving, arrange some sausage, mushrooms, green onions, & carrots, then fill the rest of the bowl with rice mixture. Press rice down.
  5. Steam for 30 min or until chicken is done. For each bowl, cover with plate and invert.
