1cup(200g) soybeans
  1. Soak soy beans overnight in an additional liter of water. Drain.
  2. Put about 1 1/2 cups of soybeans at a time in a blender; add water (from the 6 cups) so it is about 1" above the beans. Blend at low speed for 30 sec. and high speed for 15 sec. until smooth and frothy. Pour into a large pot lined with cheesecloth (#10). Repeat as necessary.
  3. Gather cloth around the pulp and squeeze the milk into the pan. Use the remaining of the 6 cups of water in the bowl to "wash" the pulp while still in the cloth and squeeze out remaining milk. Combine all milk into the pan.
  4. Bring milk to a boil over the stove; remove immediately from heat and add sugar and let cool.
