2cupsbrown sugar, packed
2cupstapioca starch
sesame seeds
  1. Combine sugar and water in a saucepan and bring to a boil, stirring to dissolve sugar. Let stand until cool.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine tapioca starch with sugared water until smooth. Add oil and mix again.
  3. Bring water to a boil in a steamer.
  4. Ladle 1/2 batter into a generously greased 9" glass pan. Steam for 5 minutes.
  5. Repeat step #4 eight more times until batter is used up.
  6. Take pudding out and sprinkle sesame seeds on top. Let pudding set for at least an hour for easier cutting.
  7. Cut into diamonds and arrange on plate.
