  1. Cover a cookie sheet with foil and place the bacon on it into an oven at about 350 degrees. Cook for about 5-6 minutes. It won't be done yet. (You do this because the shrimp will probably cook faster than the bacon.)
  2. Dip the shrimp in barbecue sauce and then wrap them in bacon and hold them together with toothpicks. (That's 1/2 a strip of bacon per shrimp. Use as much as you need.)
  3. Put the little guys on a rack and back onto the cookie sheet (so that they don't sit in bacon grease the whole time). Put them in the oven and cook about 15 minutes, or until the shrimp and bacon are done. Broil a couple of minutes at the end so the bacon will be crispy.

2 servings

  • 2 servings as a main dish, 4 as an appetizer. I only made 10 shrimp because I had really huge shrimp (13-15 per pound). It fed Kevin and I as a main dish.

The smaller your shrimp, the longer you should cook the bacon before hand.
