Ingredients
3apples
6tbspconstarch
6tbspflour
2eggs
cupsugar
1tbspsesame seeds
2tbspoil
Directions
  1. Mix the cornstarch, flour, eggs and water.
  2. Pare and core apples, cut into bite sized pieces.
  3. Pour batter over apples and mix well.
  4. Deep-fry apples on medium heat for 1 1/2 minutes. Remove. Bring oil to boil and fry again until golden.
  5. Heat pan, add oil and sugar. Stir until sugar is dissolved and becomes a transparent golden colour.
  6. Add sesame seeds and coat apples with glaze.

6 servings

  • -serve on a lighly oiled serving plate.
    -dip the apples in ice water before eating to make them crispier (and tastier)
    -can also use bananas
