Ingredients
2cupsflour
tspsalt
1cupcandied cherries, halved
1cupbutter
1cupsugar
4eggs
2tspalmond extract
Directions
  1. Combine flour & salt; stir well. Mix cup flour mixture with cherries.
  2. Cream butter & sugar until light & fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually add remaining 1 cups flour mixture. Stir in extract & cherries, mixing until well blended.
  3. Spread mixture in one greased 9x5" loaf pan or 2-7x3" pans, bottom-lined with wax paper. Bake at 300F for 70-90 minutes (large) or 60-80 minutes (small) or until toothpick comes out clean.
