1/3cupunsweetened cocoa powder
3cupswhite sugar
1(12 fluid ounce) can evaporated milk
1tspvanilla extract
  1. Combine butter, cocoa, sugar and evaporated milk in a saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil and boil for 7 minutes. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla. Carefully pour hot mixture into a blender and blend for 2 to 4 minutes. Serve immediately. Store in refrigerator.
  • Yeild: 1 quart.

    I made half a recipe, and made it with just under 1 cup of regular milk. I boiled for 10 min. to compensate. Then I beat it with a hand mixer rather than blending to cut down on dishes.
