16pitted prunes
8slicesbacon (depending on length of bacon)
8ozblock of cream cheese
  1. Preheat oven to 400 F.
  2. Divide the cream cheese into 16 equal rectangular pieces.
  3. Slice each prune in half, but not quite cutting right through. Stuff the cream cheese in the middle like making a sandwich.
  4. Wrap a slice of bacon (or a half of a slice depending on the length of your bacon) around the stuffed prune.
  5. Arrange the wrapped pieces in a baking pan with the open flap at the bottom. By laying them this way, you won't need to seal each piece with a toothpick (but you can if you want because then it's easy just to pop it into your mouth without getting your fingers greasy).
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes.

Don't knock these until you try them - seriously, you'll be amazed.
